Endorsement From Faith Based Organizations
Dear Friends,
| Please
accept this invitation to join us in the endorsement and
participation in the May Day March and Rally to be held on May
1st 2008 for the rights of immigrants and an end to the war in
Iraq, among many other issues facing our communities and the
working people of our districts that we represent. We have advocated, marched and most of all felt the pain of those who have been separated from their loved ones because of the war, and of deportations because of the broken immigration system. We are now witnessing home foreclosures and loss of jobs that has created despair and uncertainty, and a strain on the family.
The disparities have worsened because of the economic crisis that we face. The demands of this May Day March and Rally are our demands and of those we represent. Please join me in endorsing and marching together to demand a just future for all.
